Tushar Chavan, Technical Head

Tushar A. Chavan graduated from I.I.T. Bombay in 2001 obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Technology. As part of his work for B. Tech. project, he conducted experiments on retrofitting of RCC beams with steel and FRPC (Fibre Reinforced Polymer Composites) plates. He has been working in his field for last 18 years, having worked on projects in India, U.A.E, and Qatar. He has worked on Structural Designs of Hotels, Hospitals, High Rise Commercial and Residential Towers, Shopping Centers and Malls, and Electrical Substations. Major projects include Five Hotels at Doha, Qatar. Hotel Marriot Courtyard, Renaissance, Shangri-la, Rotana and Merweb. Towers are 190m high with 8 storey podium with 3 basements. (Total Area 4.5 Million Sqft.), 8 Towers of Jumeriah Beach Residence, each of 50 – 55 storey height. Total area 5.5 Millions Sqft and IRECO City at Gurugram etc.
